Tibetan Iron SealSeals were commonly used in ancient Tibet as a sign of authority or in lieu of a person's signature. They typically represented a monastery, family or a business. Seals were commonly made from gold, silver, jade, brass, crystal, copper, iron, wood and animal horn. This seal has been made from iron. The top of the seal is in the shape of a Skull whilst the bottom stamp features the sacred tibetan symbols of Double dorje, Kartika and a pair of fish.
